We are so excited that after six long years of being closed, a group of community visionaries are taking steps to reopen Church Hall and make it the vital community asset that it had been for so many years.
This community hall, situated under Boscawen Congregational Church, had been a vibrant place for locals to gather to enjoy live music, dances, church suppers, holiday fairs, bingo, scouting events wedding receptions and celebration of lives.
As a result of a catastrophic septic back up in 2023, a significant amount of renovation work is required to repair damaged floors, bathrooms, and kitchen. In addition to these repairs, there are plans to make it handicap accessible and to upgrade the heating and electrical system.
