Study, Growth & Discipleship

Current Small Groups & Events
For Study, Growth and Discipleship

Church and community members meet in small groups regularly at the Boscawen Congregational Church.  For studies, you will want to bring a Bible with you and if you don't have one, we have one for you.  Many people find a notebook and pen helpful.  If you come and have older children or teenagers, consider bringing them with you to participate and learn.  We find that encouraging our young people to interact with  the bible and hear the spiritual journey of others beyond their own peer group can help solidify their commitment to follow Jesus Christ and make stronger disciples.  To access the Church outside of Sunday worship hours, use the side entrance across from the fire station.  Refreshments are always served and the Church is handicap accessible.

MONDAY MORNING PRAYER GROUP

All prayer warriors are welcome!  This prayer meeting is held Monday mornings at 10:00AM in Pastor David's office.  Come intercede for God to move powerfully in our Church and in the Boscawen community, that people's hearts would turn to God, and that people would come to know Christ as their Savior.

Women's Book Discussion:
God's Grace in Your Suffering

Wednesdays at 7pm

We are meeting concurrently with the Bible Study
to discuss Rev. David Powlison's insightful and
scriptural look at the topic of how our faith can
remain strong through times of suffering as a
Christian.  Find the book at Amazon or at
Christianbook.com, in paperback or on Kindle.

Open to all women of any age or season
in life.  Bring a copy of the book, a Bible,
a notebook, and a pen.

PRAY
This monthly gathering is an intimate time of simply ministering to the Lord in humility and devotion and crying out to Him to glorify Himself here in this place.  It's for those who are hungry to see a powerful move of God in the church and our community.  Come if you are one of the hungry ones.

Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name;
make known his deeds among the peoples!
Sing to him, sing praises to him;
tell of all his wondrous works!
Glory in his holy name;
let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice!
Seek the Lord and his strength;
seek his presence continually!
