Hilda's Food Pantry at Boscawen Congregational Church is available to those in Boscawen that are facing food insecurity. The Food Pantry is faithfully staffed by dedicated church and community volunteers and helps well over 1,200 people annually. Through donations from church members, the local community, and food from the NH Food bank, Hilda's Food Pantry distributes over 25,000 pounds of food annually. Everyone should be able to celebrate Thanksgiving, and thanks to generous community donations and the incredible work of a small group of people, over 60 Thanksgiving baskets were distributed in 2025 to the young and old throughout our wider community. Have a need and want to reach someone at the food pantry? Call Hilda's Food Pantry at 603-998-2853 ** If we close because of weather conditions on a Saturday, we will open from 2:00-6:00 pm the following Wednesday. Check the church's Facebook page or call 603-998-2853 to confirm that we are open before coming to the pantry on a snowy Saturday.** |

We rely on steady donations of food, hygiene products and, of course, monetary gifts. Donations can be dropped off during the hours the Food Pantry is open (see hours posted above) or when the church is open for worship from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Sundays. Not having cash or a check on hand doesn't have to hold you back from giving to the Food Pantry. You can easily give today online. Simply determine the amount you would like to donate and click the "donate" button below the dollar value. When you get to the check out screen, simply leave a note in the "comment" field that your donation is for the Food Pantry. We are extremely grateful for your commitment and generosity and the impact your donation will have.
